Docwra Surname Archive Documents

There are many official documents relating to Docwras in Records Offices and State Papers, as well as memorial inscriptions in churches and other buildings, and part of the Docwra Family Research Project is to transcribe these and make them available online.

To view the transcription of a document or inscription click on its link. There will be a return link to this page on every document.

The entries in this section are taken from a variety of sources, and are reproduced "as is" on the original/transcript.... i.e. including spelling errors etc. Some of the documents are in Latin and these are given in their original language, no translation being offered unless the source provided one.

The source of the document is given wherever known, along with further information as to the origin where appropriate.
